California Gov. Schwarzenegger's office is accepting calls from anywhere regarding their marriage equality bill. It passed both houses of their legislature, but needs the Governor's approval. It's all automated, so you don't have to talk to anyone.
Follow these directions:
1. Call the Governor: 916-445-2841 (This number is listed at www.governor.ca.gov)
2. Push: 2 (voice your opinion on legislation)
3. Push: 1 (gender-neutral marriage bill - Senate Bill 849)
4. And push: 1 to support marriage equality
Pass it on.
Seriously takes less than a minute. Do a good thing.

True Story: A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage. The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholicism is against gay marriage. The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, "I'm gay." The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshiped Satan. A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

So I went through with it.
I told my dad what I wanted to do with my life. Well at least this weeks "What I want to do with my life" career choice.
I was so scared that he would be pissed about it and tell me to stick with one major for at least more than one semester.
Oh, and in case you don't know, I want to be a Personal Assistant to a high profile person in the entertainment industry, like an actor, producer, director or anything. That career is sometimes refered to as "CPA"- "Celebrity Personal Assistant". I dont know how much I like that term though.
But anyways, I'm a personal assistant now, to a woman who's husband owns a company. She works at the company, but comes and goes as she pleases. She also has 2 kids, and they take up most of her time. I do everything that she wouldnt have time to do. I enjoy it so much though and I really hope that this will help to further my career.
So, I signed up for classes today. I am taking Introduction to Business and Business Law. I think next semester I'm going to take some adminstrative classes or something, I don't know though.
Any suggestions about what classes I should take to make me a better personal assistant?
Anybody know any high profile entertainment people in need of an assistant? Lol. Let me know! Hehe.

Ok, so it seems that only 3 people read my journal. In the poll I posted a few days ago only 3 people voted. I had 3 choices and they each got one vote. So I'm still left in the dark about what I should do. Soooooooo, if you havent done so already, go vote!!

Omg. I'm such a user icon whore. I upgraded my PAID ACCOUNT (15 icons) to 50 icons. :-\ I figure I'm supporting LJ. Lol.
Anyways. I went to Panda Express tonight (the one in the Marina) and I ordered and I got it to go. On my way home I could smell it and it didn't smell right, so I opened it and it was the woman behind me's order. :( So I drove back to Panda and told them the order was wrong and they were like "ohhh yeah youre the one whos order we messed up." lol. So they made me a new meal and gave me a free egg role and offered me a free drink but I didnt take the drink. Lol. So thats my panda story.
I have some funny pics from yesterday. I might post them if i ever get around to emailing them from my phone.
Well im off to go upload more user pics. Im going to cry when I use all 50. lmao.
